Tory loves to play in the sprinkler!
Ten month old pup TORY, came to our rescue through T.E.A.R.S. (The Emergency Animal Rescue
Service) located near Birmingham, Alabama.
Tory was born at T.E.A.R.S. and later transported to Doberman pincher Rescue North Florida with the
mother Doberman (Penny Serenade). The pregnant Penny Serenade was seized by Alabama
authorities for neglect. The transport was made possible through Leonard Shelton and his Sav-A-Life
organization of Dothan, Alabama.
This Dobie mix pup is active, attentive and loving. Tory believes herself to be a top athlete. However
her excitement to enjoy life has suddenly landed her into a cast. A very bright pink cast.
Per the rescue veterinarian Tory's toe is quite seriously broken. The foot became so quickly swollen,
an x-ray was necessary to determine exactly what could be wrong. Tory will need to remain in her
colorful cast for many weeks. Foster mom Melissa will be busy keeping the energetic pup quiet
enough for healing.
Tory is a very deserving sweet doberkid that still needs our help to find her perfect forever home.
The toe break will definitely be a setback for this youngster.
