Hi Melissa: Thought you would enjoy the photos of Vader. We
were told he was going to be 2 in October so we celebrated his
birthday He is a great dog and we are so happy with him. In
the photos he is eating his “pupcake” for his birthday. He eats
everything. He wasn’t sure about it at first. He is also getting a
tummy rub by my son-in-law. He has adjusted to our famiy very
well and listens most of the time. Sometimes he has “broken
ears”.
He gets walked twice a day and gets so excited about going for
a walk. He is such a comfort to us.

Hi Melissa: It doesn’t seem like we have had Vader a year
already. We picked him up on March 26, 2009 and we have
just had the best time with him. As you can see from the
photos he put on some weight. We weighed in at 72.5 at the
vet on Tuesday (he was 54 when we got him but he was still a
youngster). She said that he is a good looking dog and that
we should try to maintain his weight or lose a few pounds. He
is still a very happy go lucky dog who is not frightened or
timid. He loves our trips back and forth to Florida. He gets
settled in and sleeps until we stop for a break and let him walk
around. He loves his new toys which are hand me downs from
my daughter’s dog who doesn’t like to play much. He is a
great dog and getting him from your rescue has been a great
experience.
